During the winter, Sun Peaks offers a near endless amount of activities.  On the mountain, 58 ski runs consisting of 24% green, 54% blue and 22% black offer 2,844 ft. (867m) of vertical length.  75% of the trails are marked with the remaining 25% in open bowls.  In addition, snowboarders will find the 3,000 ft. (1000m) long Snowboard Park to be packed with excitement.

Off the mountain, the area around Sun Peaks has heli-skiing, cross-country skiing, snow mobiling, skating (in the village) and indoor swimming.

For the kids, Sun Peaks offers a toboggan and tube park, bunny-hills and dog sled and sleigh rides.
